**Who are you?**  
Carpool is seeking an experienced Head of Dealer Sales to lead and scale our dealership business. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, building and developing a high-performing sales organization, and expanding strategic relationships across automotive dealerships.

This is a player-coach leadership role – combining hands-on enterprise selling with team leadership, performance management, and process development. The ideal candidate understands how dealerships buy, how dealership decision-makers operate, and how to build scalable sales motions within the automotive industry. This role oversees Inside Sales Representatives, Dealer Business Development Managers, and Enterprise Sales professionals.

**What will you do?**  
Carpool is looking for an ambitious Head of Dealer Sales to lead and scale our dealership business. This role requires a proven sales leader with deep experience driving revenue growth within the automotive dealership space, along with the ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing sales teams.

This is a player-coach leadership role – responsible for both closing strategic accounts and building the sales organization. You will hire top talent, coach performance, establish scalable sales processes, and drive consistent revenue growth across dealership customers.

The ideal candidate understands how dealerships evaluate and purchase solutions, knows how to navigate dealership decision-makers, and has a track record of building and leading successful automotive sales teams.

**Responsibilities:**

**Team Development**  
- Lead and scale Carpool’s dealership sales organization across inside, field, and enterprise sales functions.  
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing sales talent.  
- Build repeatable sales processes, pipeline management standards, and forecasting discipline.  
- Analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitive activity to improve execution and drive growth strategy.  
- Create accountability across the sales organization through clear KPIs, performance management, and operational rigor.

**Revenue & Pipeline Management**  
- Drive revenue growth through new dealership acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships.  
- Personally manage and close strategic dealership accounts and enterprise opportunities.  
- Develop relationships with dealer groups, and key automotive decision-makers.  
- Drive consistent pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, and revenue performance and partner with leadership to set sales targets and headcount plans.  
- Improve sales processes, CRM usage, and reporting while identifying opportunities for long-term account growth.  
- You will leverage your deep knowledge of dealership operations, pain points, and buying behavior to support complex or high-value deals when needed.  
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Pricing, and Leadership teams to align growth initiatives and customer experience.

**Qualifications:**  
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field preferred.  
- 7+ years of experience within automotive dealership business  
- 3+ years of experience managing, hiring, and developing sales teams  
- Proven success selling into auto dealerships at enterprise level  
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.  
- Strong understanding of dealership operations, dealership buying behavior, and automotive retail dynamics.  
- Experience building scalable sales processes and managing pipeline performance in fast-paced environments.  
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and retain top sales talent.  
- Strong enterprise sales and negotiation skills with experience closing strategic accounts.  
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics and reporting to drive performance and accountability.  
- Bias for action, strong decision-making ability, and comfort operating in high-growth environments.  
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.  
- Onsite at the Atlanta HQ – some travel required including for training, client visits and conferences.
